How far in advance can I book MSQ?
We honor bookings up to two years in advance and recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure availability of our musicians. However, we have also worked on the fly in the past and were able to pull together an amazing package.
what is the msq booking process?
When you're ready to book MSQ for your event, we collect a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The balance payment is due two weeks prior to your your event. You’ll also get a digital contract to sign. As your event date approaches, we’ll partner with you to help you fill out our song selection form.
do i need to provide anything for the musicians on the day of the event?
Every musician will need an armless chair. For outdoor venues, all musicians will need full cover from sun and rain to protect our instruments, and in cold conditions, a heat lamp or a move indoors is needed to ensure an optimized environment.
can i request songs not on the repertoire lists?
Absolutely! We have an extensive library of music, ranging from Baroque and Classical to Pop/Rock to Film/TV, and we arrange new songs all the time. You can review the list of songs HERE however if you don't see a song on the list that you feel you must have, we can create a custom arrangements of your favorite song(s). *Please note additional fees will apply.
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is not required. However, it is a great way to show your appreciation for the musicians
does MSQ have a cancellation policy?
We collect a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. We will roll over your deposit towards any future date free of charge. There is a clause in our contract that outlines this.
